Message:
I cross-stitched a Christmas stocking for my late husband that I want to give to our grandson. I cross-stitched the new name on a piece of fabric and want to place it over my husband's name. Do you think I can attach the new one with half-stitches all around the edges? The fabric seems fairly sturdy, but should I stay-stitch or use a fabric glue around the edges? I do not want to glue or iron on over the first name. Thank you. -- Thea from Oak Park, Illinois

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
